SIMPLETEC Double Acting Quench Presses are suitable for heavy components with two internal cones where loading the component on the bottom die is difficult. Instead of lifting the component on the bottom die, it is placed on a bridge and centered automatically. As the bottom die, placed below the table moves up, the bridge retracts and the component rests on it.Simultaneously, the top die moves down and presses the component against the bottom die and quenching operation starts. After press-quenching, the component is automatically removed from the quench press. The entire cycle time excluding the actual quenching time, is less than 12 seconds.
