Model:
The HYDRAULIC 40-T 3-STATION QUENCH PRESS is of very rigid and robust design. Each Down Stroking Cylinder (Ram) has a capacity of 40 T. The pressing force can be infinitely varied as required from 5 T to the maximum value. The pressing force can be directly seen on HMI provided on the machine. The required system pressure (and the pressing force) can be set with a pressure regulating valve and a push button provided exclusively for this purpose. The component is placed on the table manually from the furnace and pressed against the locating fingers. On pressing the ‘Auto-cycle On’ push button, the Ram moves down along with the Quench Well and presses the component to the set pressure (maximum 40-T). On reaching the pre-set pressure, quench oil floods the component. On completion of the pre-set quench time, oil flow stops, the Ram and the Quench Well retract to their ‘home’ positions and the Ejector Cylinder pulls the component and drops it on the Secondary Quench Tank conveyor.
